a) honouring the victims of the camp with a moment of silence during a session of the Sejm.
November 30, 2022 (Łódź, premises on Przemysłowa Street, 2 pm)
a) ceremony at the “Broken Heart” monument (laying of bouquets and bunches of flowers);
b) unveiling of a commemorative plaque on the “Verwaltung” building on Przemysłowa Street.
December 1, 2022 (Warsaw, Sejm, 1.00 pm)
a) opening of the vernissage of the exhibition dedicated to the fate of Polish children from the camp on Przemysłowa Street
b) handing over to the MPs of the Republic of Poland the latest monograph of the Museum titled ‘Niezwykła polska rodzina. Losy Gertrudy Nowak – dziecka z obozu na Przemysłowej” [“An extraordinary Polish family. The fate of Gertruda Nowak – a child from the camp on Przemysłowa Street”].
December 1, 2022 (Łódź, area at Przemysłowa Street, 12.00 pm; seat of the Museum of Polish Children on 90 Piotrkowska Street, 5.00 pm)
a) guided tour on the camp premises for schools (12.00 pm);
b) lectures on the history of the camp at the Museum’s seat (5.00 pm and 7.30 pm).
December 7, 2022 (Łódź, Grand Theatre, 6.00 pm)
a) first screening of the documentary film titled ‘To się nie kończy… Historia dzieci z obozu na Przemysłowej’ [This is not the end... The story of the children from the camp on Przemysłowa Street] directed by dr Mateusz Winkel;
b) concert by the orchestra and choir of the Stanisław Moniuszko Music School Complex in Łódź;
c) announcement of the issue of a National Bank of Poland collector coin -– ‘Nazi German Concentration Camp for Polish Children in Łódź (1942-1945)’ commemorating the victims of the camp for Polish children on Przemysłowa Street in Łódź, scheduled to be issued on December 8, 2022.
December 8, 2022 (Łódź, al. T. Kościuszki 14, 12.00 pm)
Meeting at the head office of the branch of the National Bank of Poland in Łódź comprising:
a) presentation of a collector coin ‘Nazi German Concentration Camp for Polish Children in Łódź (1942-1945)’ collector coin;
b) commemorative speeches;
c) presentation of commemorative coins to Survivors of the camp on Przemysłowa Street;
d) opening of a temporary exhibition (an exhibition combined with the screening of a documentary film titled ‘To się nie kończy… Historia dzieci z obozu na Przemysłowej’ [This is not the end... The story of the children from the camp on Przemysłowa Street] directed by dr Mateusz Winkel;
e) Time for mass media.
