back...Cooperation agreement with Liceum Ogólnokształcące Politechniki Łódzkiej [eng. the High School of the Łódź University of Technology]
Archive workshops for young historians and the participation of students in selected historical source material searches are the most important points of the cooperation agreement signed betweenMuzeum Dzieci Polskich – ofiar totalitaryzmu [eng.the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism] and the Public High School of the Łódź University of Technology.
On March 23, 2023, Dr. Ireneusz Piotr Maj, Director of the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism, and Izabela Kapłon, Director of the Public High School of the Łódź University of Technology, signed a letter of intent on a cooperation agreement.
- The main idea of undertaking cooperation between the Museum and the High School will be archive workshops for young historians. We also want to invite students interested in history to participate in selected searches for archival source materials. I think that for young people this will be an interesting form preparing to be a historian," explained Dr. Ireneusz Piotr Maj.
The aim of the cooperation is also to disseminate knowledge about the German concentration camp for Polish children on Przemysłowa Street in Łódź. The agreement also aims to deepen intergenerational ties and foster patriotic attitudes among the younger generation.
